QR codes in Smart SOP are quick response codes that allow easy access to standard operating procedures (SOPs) or lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures within the Smart SOP application. Users can generate QR codes for their procedures directly from the Action menu.
How do I generate a QR code for an SOP or LOTO procedure?
To generate a QR code, simply select "QR Code" from the Action menu next to the selected SOP or LOTO procedure. The QR code will be automatically generated and can be printed on a label to place on or near the equipment or process.
How do I access a procedure using a QR code?
You can access a procedure using its QR code by clicking the "Scan QR Code" button on the SOP or LOTO list page within the Smart SOP application. Simply scan the QR code, and the corresponding procedure will be displayed.
Will QR codes from the previous version of Smart SOP still work in the new app?
Yes, QR codes from the previous version of Smart SOP will still work in the new app. However, new QR codes will also be generated for each procedure in the new version.
Can I use my phone camera to scan the QR Code?
You must initiate the scan from within the app. First click the QR Code search button, and then select your camera to scan the code.
